SERVICES QUESTION

    • Frameless: No aluminium frame at all. Uses thick 10mm toughened glass held in place with minimal hardware (hinges, handles, wall channel). Sleek, modern and easiest to clean. Most premium option.

    • Semi-frameless: Glass panels with a partial aluminium frame — typically along the top and wall sides but not around the door opening. Uses 6mm or 8mm glass. Good mid-range option — cleaner look than fully framed at a lower cost than frameless.

    • Framed: Full aluminium frame around all panels and door. Uses thinner glass (4–5mm). Most affordable and very durable. Available in silver, gold and black anodised finishes.

  • Yes — everything is custom. We come to your bathroom, take precise measurements and fabricate the glass specifically for your space. We don't use off-the-shelf standard sizes, so your screen will fit perfectly regardless of how unusual your bathroom dimensions are.

  • For emergency broken window repairs, we aim to attend the same day when called during business hours. We carry a range of common glass sizes in stock, so in many cases we can repair and glaze on the first visit. Call us as early in the day as possible for the best chance of same-day service.

  • If you're already replacing glass, upgrading to double glazed units is worth considering — especially for rooms that get very hot in summer, very cold in winter, or face street noise. Double glazed units (two panes with an air gap) significantly improve thermal and acoustic performance. We can advise on whether your existing frames can accommodate double glazed units.

  • Glass splashbacks are an excellent choice — they're heat resistant (when toughened), incredibly easy to clean with no grout lines to worry about, and they look stunning. A single seamless glass panel behind your cooktop and bench is both practical and a real design feature.

  • Yes. We cut mirrors to any rectangular or square size. For shaped mirrors (arched tops, circles, etc.) we can discuss what's possible depending on your design. We also offer bevelled edges which give a classic, finished look to bathroom and hallway mirrors.

  • Absolutely. We supply cut-to-size glass to trade and retail customers. Just tell us your dimensions, the glass type you need, and the thickness — we'll cut it and have it ready for you to collect. Many of our customers are tradespeople, handymen and confident DIYers who simply need glass cut to size.

  • For standard float glass cuts, we can usually have it ready same day or next day depending on how busy we are. Toughened glass typically takes 2–5 working days as it needs to be sent for toughening. We'll always give you an accurate timeframe when you order.

Pricing & Quotes

  • No — our measure and quote service is completely free and carries no obligation. We visit your site, take measurements, discuss your requirements and provide a written quote. There's no pressure to proceed and no charge if you decide not to go ahead.

  • For simple jobs like a window glass replacement or basic cut-to-size supply, we can often give a ballpark price over the phone if you have accurate measurements and know your glass type. For shower screens, splashbacks, commercial work and anything requiring a site visit, we'll give you a firm price after measuring up.

  • For emergency broken window repairs, we aim to attend the same day when called during business hours. We carry a range of common glass sizes in stock, so in many cases we can repair and glaze on the first visit. Call us as early in the day as possible for the best chance of same-day service.

  • For larger jobs involving custom fabrication (shower screens, large splashbacks, etc.), we typically require a deposit when the order is confirmed. For straightforward repairs and small glass supply orders, payment is generally on completion or collection. We'll make payment terms clear on your quote.

  • We accept cash, bank transfer (EFT) and most major credit/debit cards. For commercial accounts, we can arrange invoicing on standard terms. Please ask us about account terms if you're a regular trade customer.

  • Yes. All our installations are warranted against defects in workmanship. The hardware and glass products we supply also carry manufacturer warranties where applicable. If something isn't right after we've completed a job, call us — we'll come back and fix it.

  • This depends on your specific policy and the cause of the damage. Many home insurance policies cover accidental glass breakage. We can provide an itemised invoice and any documentation your insurer needs to process a claim. It's always worth checking with your insurer first — we're happy to support the claim process.
